This custom home in Ridgeway is part of a brand-new retirement development by Lake Erie. This is a corner lot that is beside a naturalized retention pond. Being a new home, this project required a complete property makeover that involved many landscaping elements, interlocking pavers were used for the driveway and walkways, then a small flagstone sitting area / fire pit was created, an armour stone raised patio was installed, and matching interlocking pavers were used to tie it all together. The steps up to the patio and covered porch were done in a similar natural stone to compliment the rest of the project. Plantings were used to soften the stone that was used and create privacy. Landscape lighting and an irrigation system were installed to enhance the property and allow for minimal maintenance. A well-thought-out design addressing all the clients wants and needs, along with site elevations was the only way to achieve a seamless installation.
